Hey all :-) I attempted this topic about a couple months ago and no one really jumped on the bandwagon like the March filers. So now is your time!! We can compare notes and see when the ball is rolling for our month if indeed it is rolling for anyone yet. I bet so far everyone is still waiting for the NOA2 seeing how most the March filers are still waiting.

I filed April 1st and received my NOA1 April 16th. I don't understand what the 'touches' are so if someone can explain that would be cool. Also what is everyone doing to in preparation for the NVC?? I'm going to file myself for the affidavit of support so will be ordering 3 years of transcripts from the IRS soon, but don't know what else I can do to prepare really except save another $400 for the next step :-P

You know we can use this to vent too cuz waiting sucks! So come on and lets support each other April filers!! If anything it will pass some of the time out of the endless waiting here :-P

USCIS JOURNEY

Sent I-130: 4/1/10

NOA1: 4/13/10

NOA2: 9/30/10

NVC JOURNEY

- NVC Case Number Assigned 10/14/10

- AOS bill and Agent forms received by email 10/29/10

- Email DS 3032 10/15/10

- Hard Copy sent 10/26/10

- Scanned Copy sent 10/27/10

- AOS Bill Status: Paid online 10/25/10

- AOS Package Sent via Priority Mail 10/27/10

- AOS Package Delivered to NVC 10/29/10

- IV Bill Received & Paid 10/29/10

- IV Bill Status: Shows as PAID 11/01/10

- Sent IV Package Priority Mail 11/02/10

- IV Pack Received at NVC 11/04/10

- IV Pkg Entered into AVR System 11/17/10

- NVC SIF 11/23/10

- Case Complete 11/30/10 (could've been earlier; called late :-P)

- NVC Forwards Case to Embassy

- Medical completed 12/13/10

- Interview Date Completed Jan 13th @ 9am--APPROVED!!

- POE 1/30/2011

The very last I-130 that has been processed/approved is from 05-MAR-2010. The first April I-130 be processsed for at least another month.

N400 CITIZENSHIP STAGE

23-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form mailed to Dallas, TX Lockbox (USPS EXPRESS)

27-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form delivered/picked up by USCIS

01-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form fee check cashed by USCIS

04-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form received per NOA1

09-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 notice date

14-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 on hand through USPS

30-JAN-2017 -:- N400 fingerprint taken

01-FEB-2017 -:- N400 interview schedule process started

26-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview date set (01SEP2017)

29-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview letter on hand

01-SEP-2017 -:- N400 interview date - Interview passed

10-OCT-2017-:- N400 oath ceremony letter on hand (oath on 26OCT2017)

Not to rain on your parade or anything, but here is the other April Filers forum:

I noticed that both of you guys had started the Forum around the same time.

As for what you could do next, I would read LingChe's shortcut guide:

The "touches" are really just the column on your portfolio on the USCIS website where it says, "last updated". If that date changes from your NOA1 receipt date, then you have been "touched". It doesn't really mean much. It is always nice to see that they are doing something to your case but they don't tell you what it is....:(.

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

-NVC sent checklist letter (for the 2 AOS RFE's): 11/13/10

-NVC operator says the IV package has been entered: 11/18/10

-E-mailed SUE to see if that would do anything (3 diff times...): 11/29/30/10

-Sent AOS RFE's: 12/1/10

-AOS RFE's received: 12/2/10

-Checked payment portal for fun (SIF!!!!): 12/3/10

-AVR still say AOS missing info: 12/3/10

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)
