Hey guys!

Well I just wanted to tell you that Hicham had no problems at JFK and they didn't even ask him anything. They just took his envelope and his I-94 and gave him EAD and he was on his way. He didn't miss his flights and was only 30 minutes late at LAX. We didn't get home until 4:30 am so we were pretty tired.

Anyways since he has been here we have been busy eating too much of course and trying every kind of food he has never seen before. We went to Farmer's Market and he loooved the ribs and the music. We went to my parent's house for the weekend and it was really nice but no one could talk too much since he doesn't speak English and my family's French is a little rusty but they really like Hicham so I'm happy about that.

We applied for his Social Security card so hopefully that will be coming by next week. He needed his passport plus his ID card.

Otherwise we have just been playing a lot of tennis, going to the beach, shopping, sleeping, cooking etc.

Oh today something really good happened I think. We went to a classroom where I heard there was free tutoring by retired teachers for people who don't speak English. Anyways we were talking to this lady about tutoring and behind us I heard a man say Morocco about 5 times so I asked the lady and she said yes he is from Morocco let me introduce you. So we met Aziz whose family owns the only Moroccan restaurant in the area and we are going to go eat there tonight and meet his family. This is really good because Hicham wants to work in a restaurant and I am hoping they can give him something to do there where he can understand what they are saying. I just couldn't believe that there was a Moroccan family here because this is a very small town.

Ok well I just wanted to say hi and let you know how things are going.

Congrats to those who have had success and who are being reunited and good luck to those waiting you are next!!!

Kisses,

Sarah

I have never liked the taste of lamb. I will cook it for my husband, but I cannot eat it. I think the only time I have enjoyed it was when it has been the part of gyro meat.
