I said give them back to the budhists... it's a major offense in our religion to make statues or images of the figures in our own religion... why should the images of another religion be "tolerated" in a muslim country that calls itself being ruled by the sharia (laws of Allah)?

With all due respect, I am from England...a predominently Christian country....Where the Queen is 'Defender of the (Christian) Faith....and where mosques have sprung up everywhere where Muslim immigrants have settled, including my birth city and the city where I resided before I came to the US. I have seen no such intolerance (as you are displaying) there. I actually marvel at the architecture of some of them, as I have in Muslim countries I have visited. Are you saying that the British should also have the mosques demolished and sent to Muslim countries? Sorry, but it works both ways (in your scenario).

Idols are not allowed according to the sharia.. Afghnistan is supposedly rule by the sharia... therefor no idols should be allowed.

I am not in prison... have never even been arrested but I am not free to leave. I have children here and the laws of this country (as would the laws of many other countries) prevents me from leaving the country with them (even for vacation) without a passport which they can't have without their dad's signature. That makes me unable to leave.

I would also like you to tell me when I have ever said "everyone here is a kafir" I don't make general takfir like that as it's haraam. There are many muslims living in the US. Not everyone here is a kafir and I have never said differently.

AND I said they have a right to co-exisit, meaning the muslims have a right to co-exist. Your logic doesn't work either way.

We are talking about two different things... I didn't say anyone doesn't have the right to co-exist. If a non-muslim lives in a muslim country we have been commanded to treat them fairly and justly and provide protection for them.... I'm specifically talking about idols interfering with the laws of the sharia in a country that is governed by such.

One verse of the Quran cannot negate other verses... Also, it's horrible for you to imply that the prophet you claim to love ever did anything against the Quran. Religious tolerance is in the Quran but erecting idols is forbidden.

No, if you believe in your religion then Islam was the first religion and the prophets after whom judaism and christianity were founded were muslims and taught Islam. It was their followers who changed it later.
