I ve been reading this forum for a long time, but this is the first time I am writting.

I filled my I-130 on Jan 06th at Vermont and I got my NOA2 today, after 7 months and 2 days of waiting, waiting and waiting! I am very happy!!!!!

You are probably asking why I dindn't apply for the K-3 visa. By the time we filled the I-130 at Vermont, my husband called the USCIS to ask some questions about the K-3 process and someone told him that he shouldn't apply for the K-3 because it was taking the same time to process than the CR1. I guess the woman was right, but when Vermont started processing the petition filled in December (around March 2006) they slowed down the whole process...and there was no point to apply for the K-3 anymore. So we had to wait....and every time he called the USCIS to ask what was going on they told us that we had to wait wait and wait...frustrating.

Well, my case was transfered to CSC and after less than 10 days was approved!!!!

For those who are desperated, hang in there, the approvals are coming!!!!
