Hi,

This is crazy, but I kind of remember that the couple at the NFP (Natural Family Planning) classes mentioned that the possibilities of having a baby girl or boy were higher if you "placed the order" on specific timmings of the ovulation period. This classes were held in my country and I don't longer have this info. with me.

I know that at the end of the day you get what God sends you but... Is there really a higher chance to get a boy or a girl if you do it in certain days of your ovulation time?

If someboby has heard about this or knows... please your comments... I just got courious and can't remember how was it...

Thanks!

Princesa

I have heard that the temperature at fertilization may have a link to gender, although it is one factor in many. If that is true, then as your temperature changes during ovulation, it might have an impact.

Is it true? No idea. Even if it is, it's only one factor in many that would determine the gender.

surprisingly there are not more girls born, as male sperm get lost and won't ask for directions :P

Yes. The X sperms tend to outlive the Y sperms (male) so having intercourse at least a day or two before ovulation will raise your chances of having a girl. Thus, if you want a boy, you should use the body temperature method to accurately detect the day of ovulation and wait until then to have intercourse. :star:
