Ok so - riddle me this, Batman.

Emily has had 2 nighttime baby sitters in the last month; my best friend Linda, and last night, my sister Debbie. Both of them had Emily WAILING crying while bathing her. With us - she is happy as a lark, all smiley and laughing. What the???

She's starting to develop her fear of strangers, which is a GREAT thing really. Look up 'stranger anxiety' as it's really common. I'm no doctor, but I just read somewhere that it can start as early as 3-4 months and it just means they're extra perceptive and know when things aren't quite right. Developing this means that weirdos would be a lot less able to walk off with your kid when your back is turned for 5 seconds. My son loved everyone and it was a bit scary!! He's 8 - turning 9 on Friday :( - and still has very little fear so I have to watch him extra carefully.

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

That's really odd Tracy. Sounds to me like Jewel may be onto something. Like, she knows them and all, but bathtime is 'private' yanno?

I was telling my MIL about how funny Nick is when he's eating, and then she responded with a link to some WholeFoods contest. So I subd his photo. Eh, we'll see right?

Here's the pic:

At 6 months, the munchkin was sucking on blueberries through a net/feeder type thing. She loved the juice, but the better half hated the laundry afterward. :lol:

I actually got one of those things at my shower, and came across it the other day.

Note to self: put him in throwaway clothing while eating blueberries, lol

How is Nick doing in that contest, Lisa?

Emily started crawling this weekend. She still hasn't mastered the 'up on all fours' completely, but she is very adept at getting where ever she wants to go...usually straight to our DVD collection! LOL The funniest part is she seems to really beeline towards Chas' James Bond collection. :lol: Possibly the half Brit coming out in her? :) It's soon going to be no rest for weary mommy and daddy, eh? (I wonder if we'll start missing the 'when she was an infant' days...?)

Damn!!!

Yes :crying::huh::hehe::lol:

Yeah hubby and I discussed that last night. He said he can see where he will not be able to get ANYthing done around the house all day other than constantly watching her. Not that he minds per se, but I know what he means. My weekends will be challenging too, as that's the only time I have to get thing done! Thankfully my folks want to see her most Saturdays so that will be my only saving grace.
