Oh that's ok  I thought maybe you were talking about a time they were down there to play the Panthers or something.

YES - that was too freaking cute Lisa! Although I had to go to your page directly. Like you, I don't think my FB feed is showing me everything it should of late. (I missed a few things Chas posted too.) I also loved Limita's 'meeting' photo...her 'boyfriend' is so cute too!

Aw! I just saw Nick's video, Lisa. Giggling rulez.

I think the Facebook feed default is Top News. I'd rather read the Most Recent so I don't miss too much, and every so often I have to select it. Of course, I always seem to end up missing something interesting!

Yeah, Taylor is a cutie. I've met both his parents, who are really nice. Taylor is nearly five months and over 18 pounds. His dad described him as a moose. He's still the only boy in the infant room. Even with all the competition, Mad-Ag is clearly Taylor's favorite. :star:

I always click 'most recent', too, but I still seem to be missing things. Grrr!!

Wow - the only boy among a bunch of girls - he's setting up good patterns early, eh?

Emily slept for 14 freaking hours Sunday night! Chas said he did not hear a peep out of her until 11:30 yesterday morning. Then she had a nap from 3:45-4:15 and was still yawning and wiping her eyes when I got home around 5;15. We finally gave in and let her nap from 5:40-6 pm, and she went down around 10. ####### is up with that though - 14 hours?? Not that we're complaining, mind you, but man!! He thinks she may have been awake from 6-7 am as he could hear her slamming her heels into the crib mattress - but still no vocalizing during all that. I think we just have a weird child. Will be curious to see when she gets up today after her 10 pm bedtime.

Guess what? Our child is a brat!!!

Ultrasound.jpg

It wouldn't give us a clear pic and was right up against the placenta or had the cord in front of it's face the whole ultrasound. It also had it's feet tucked under it so we couldn't have found out the gender if we had wanted to. On top of that, it headbutts my bladder all day long. The ultrasound tech thinks that is funny. I DON'T!!!

ETA: Sorry about the size. I should reduce it a bit.

Size looks fine! Congrats (L) (L) (L)!!!

Nick was also a bit uncooperative with the anatomical u/s, and it took several minutes of maneuvering to finally see that he was a boy. Then a week or so later, I had to go to get a 4D u/s which was the shizzle! We would have been able to REALLY see his face; I was so excited. Alas, the little man at the time didn't want to move at all, and kept his arm or hand in front of his face the whole time. The tech was also pushing on my stomach to get him to move, and it was the funniest thing: he'd move his arms and legs (like when you startle someone) as soon as she'd push, but then he'd go right back to the position he was in.

The least obstructed pic was of him flipping us the bird.

So excited for you!!!

LMAO.. isn't that how it usually goes?! Did they make you pay for the ultrasound? I've heard some companies here don't if they can't get the pictures they promised. We're going to have to look into it in a couple more months.

The 4D was for other reasons...they needed all sorts of dimensions of his heart. So yeah, we had to pay.

One of my friends told me that when he and his wife were preggers, ins would only pay for a certain number of u/s, so what they did was, they went to an U/S school. The techs in training there needed the mommies, and they offered free u/s in return. I say that was win/win! Maybe you can check into if there are any schools nearby, and whether or not they have 4D. It wasn't cheap, thank God ins covered most of it.

I've temp attached the u/s I was talking about, hehehehe.

I don't see an ultrasound. That sounds funny though.

They do not cooperate when you're having an U/S, do they? There was one where Emily never wanted to face the camera and all we wanted to do was see her cute face. LOL. Congrats though, Jewel - you must be so excited! :)

I took them off...I didn't want you to think I was trying to 'steal your thunder' so to speak. (Since I've had my pregnancy days and now it's your turn, lol)

Here they are again:

I *want* to see them! Besides, I'm stealing everyone's thunder by butting in on the Tracy/Empress thread - but it's so much fun!!

He is so cute in those. Our baby doesn't move much during ultrasounds, but this one s/he was tucking it's hand under it's chin like it was posing. The husband has me talked into doing a 3D ultrasound around 30 weeks, for his parents back in the UK OF COURSE!!

Thanks!! I totally understand how frustrating that must have been to have Emily be so camera shy. It turns out my placenta is anterior so I can't feel most of the movement and it was hard to get the pictures. I finally had to lay on my side to get these, so hopefully it moves a bit by the time we go do the 3D scan.

This thread may have been started for me and Empress, but since our Buns are no longer in the oven  we can't claim it as solely ours anymore. Nor should we anyway - I think it's safe to say it's now kind of a moms thread which is great!!!!

Emily really only did that to us the once - but of course, it was the 'big' one where we could have found out her sex if we wanted to. I'm still pretty glad we didn't find out though. There was something nice about that *pop* 'It's a girl!!' moment. :) :)

See, it's ####### like that which makes me yearn slightly for another one! Damn it! But that's the only time I get those yearnings, truth told. ;)

Fingers crossed for a good - FULL VIEW - 3D scan!!!!!!

Ok so - riddle me this, Batman.

Emily has had 2 nighttime baby sitters in the last month; my best friend Linda, and last night, my sister Debbie. Both of them had Emily WAILING crying while bathing her. With us - she is happy as a lark, all smiley and laughing. What the???
