OMG I totally had a brain fart and had somehow hidden the FB friend 'group' I had her in -what a flipping idiot. I must have done that this weekend somehow when I was fiddling around in there (serves me right). Aaah!! The baby is so cute!!!!!

Yeah we wanna know! But I can totally relate to her - hard to get online and make updates the day or two after giving birth!!

Pish, I updated while I was in labor, iirc....I am certain I was texting my boss and whatnot.

Granted, it was 30 something hours, lolz.

Hi, ladies

Limita has arrived! And she even has a name: Madeleine Agnes. I'll post pics soon but just wanted to check in. I ended up having a c-section...the unfortunate and feared scenario of many hours of labor (fortunately not 30, tho) followed by what has to be the weirdest surgical procedure evah! But little Limita is adorable and seems to be doing fine. Breastfeeding is proving to be something of a challenge. I can't say I was impressed w/ the hospital in the useful breastfeeding support category. But anyway, I'll elaborate soon on the experience but try to keep it light. :)

Thank you for the all the thoughts and well wishing!

p.s. Oddly, the baby's hair is not helmet-like in the least! Maybe it comes in later, like antlers?

She's gorgeous!

Wasn't the C odd? I felt like they were crushing my whole torso into dust, even though I couldn't feel pain. I feel ya sister!

If you need help with breastfeeding, let me know....my lact consultant was the best and she helped me through that awful colostrum only period, and afterwards.....

YAY So glad she is here! Make sure not to over do it - esp. having had a C. I overdid and had a uterine infection 2 weeks later (and had her vaginally). NOT fun.

Can't help ya with the breastfeeding, but would love to help if I can with any 'what is this child DOING?!' moments you might have. LOL.
