Form 865

When my wife filed for her parents (Forms I-130, 864, 864A)we were living at the old address. We moved to a new address and then we notified NVC of the new address, however we forgot to notify USCIS. We moved again last week and called NVC right away for the change of address. This time the NVC representative advised to also call USCIS and notfiy them for the change of address. We are in process of filing form 865 (Change of address), but what should we do since we didn't notify USCIS when we moved the first time. The USCIS might still have the old address when we filed all the forms.

Long story short what should we do in order to avoid any issues since her parents got the visa and will be coming this week.

Should we just file 865 wit the most current address?

Personally I would put your most recent address. As long as you have the evidence that you changed your address the first time you should be okay... one would hope anyway. Hopefully others can give their advice.

Any news on this? We did the same thing, and my husbands address has been my parents, and now we are preparing to remove his conditions and we realized that we hadn't changed it. So we changed his but I haven't done the 865 yet. Will call the service center tomorrow but I am freaking out.
