Since Paul's AOS interview was scheduled so quick, his EAD application didn't get processed before he was approved for his greencard. So now I'm wondering what happens to his EAD application? Do they just stop processing it now? I don't have to call them and tell them "thanks but no thanks" do I? I know we don't get a refund on the money, just curious if they know we don't need it anymore.

Exactly! I never even thought about a refund - even I'm not that stupid! I was just wondering if Paul was going to get an EAD in a few weeks! That would be way more likely then a refund! I am a bit bitter about essentially wasting $180, but if I hadn't have sent it in, we'd still be waiting and waiting for the interview. Oh well who needs an extra $180? I guess the USCIS does!
