Montreal Interview Review!!

Yeah!!! so i had my interview today got approved :dance:

And heres my Journey..

I woke up at 330am (very EARLY but weirdly i was wide awake even with im sure only 2hour of sleep cause it was Very hard to sleep last night haha)

I was on the road by 415am from Ottawa .. Got Downtown at like 615am ish , there was NOO traffic (very strange) but i did end up getting lost(cause of some detour) so i didnt get to the place till um 630ish.. and there was already 3 couples before me in line!

after more and more and more people started coming .. so i guess going in at 630 was the perfect time!

at 730 the doors opened up and the security guy(very mean looking haha) was asking everyone for their passport and Interview letter (and I DIDNT have my interview letter) because i never got it back from the Medical ! and the medical told me my letter was sealed in the envelope... So he ask to see some other paper..i got nervous cause i was holding up the line he let met go and the other security guy asked to see my case number letter.. THANk god i had that with me! he said i might have a hard time with the other security guy but tell him your letter is with your medical... (damm was i ever nervous by that time)

so we all walked in and sat in this room.. the security guy came out of the elevator and took a few of up upstairs ... maybe 20 min when by and they called me... i gave her all the stuff she asked for(and she was SOOOOOOOOOOO nice)

After that she asked me to go to window 14 and pay the fee 350$ US! and to go back to her window! I went back and told me to have a seat and ill be call for my interview

umm 25 mins went by and i got call in this room ... This guy was there (Very down to earth, Very nice) he asked me questions : So you excited about getting married? what does your fiance do for a living? How did you meet? and thats it ... 5 min conversation not even and hes like Ok Welcome to the USA! ill be back!

( in my head i was like are you serioussssss? thats IT? it was soo short and rushed haha) he didnt even take a look at nothing .. i swear he took a lil peek and that was it! he said my stuff was well organized and ill be fine once i crossed the border! He came back and i left i was out of there at 930am !

but one thing i dont understand... is i got called before everyone else ... haha so the couples who were before me were all giving me dirty looks like what how come your being called before us! (i felt bad but eh) when i left they were all still sitting there! AH well It was a great moment ! but one thing I NEVER WANNA GO THRU THIS EVER AGAIN! im soooo glad its all over

Canada is practically America's 51st state. That's why your interview was short and nice and to the point. If you were an Yemeni or Pakistani, your experiences would've been somehow different. Congratulations. Welcome to America, which is not much different than Canada.
