We had our AOS interview in San Antonio, TX on yesterday which is about an hour from where we live. Our appt was at 12:30 and at that time we were being called into the office. We had a guy doing our interview he wasnt rude but was a straight to the point kind of person. It lasted an hour. He was asking me personal questions about my previous job which was really not directly related to the interview but he said he was just personally curious about my opionion about education and immigrants since I use to work for an educational company. I think he was just trying to build a rapport. But anyways he then had me and my husband discuss our lives indivially since we were born. The schools we went to , all education background , parents and siblings information just things like that. Then he went on to discuss how we met and just our relationship in detail. He looked at our pictures and some evidence we had. Which compared to reading other posts and the list he gave of the things he wanted to see we didnt have alot of phy evidence. No lease info together , no utility bills or credit cards in our names , no car or insurance together , our DL even had different addresses cause when I moved I never changed it to the new one. We did have affidavits which helped alot , bank statements , and job information . So with that being said I am sure it was just our confidence level , body language and just our general conversation with the officer that won him over. We talked about a lot of stuff I just imagine him as a friend someone I would have no problem talking to and went from there. I (US citizen) did more talking that my spouse. Officer was even telling us about some of his previous interviews and what went on with them . Well after everything was said and done he approved us which I knew he would cause he was a little to personal with us. He even told us some about his home life and all. We had also received an RFE before this for his medicals which I just resent them a copy of it and the actual immigration information sheet that stated he did not need to have another one done since it was done within the year. I had taken a copy his medicals to the interview as well but he never said anything about it. So now we just have to do the removal of conditions later on. GOOD LUCK to everyone else that has there coming .

Thanks so much for sharing. I am so happy things went well for you. We will also be going to San Antonio when the day comes, hopefully one day sooner than later....We live in San Antonio. So it is good to hear they were not painfully rude. That sure makes people feel better about the day they have to go.

Congratulations!!
