Police Certificate Expiration?

Hey All! Happy Wednesday!

I'm a K1 beneficiary from Egypt.

Today I went to get my police certificate, they told me I'll get the instant one (you get it after 3-4 days) and it costs more.

Anyway, the certificate said in English and in Arabic, "Expires in 3 months"

I heard they are usually good for one year, right? So Am I going to be in trouble if it expires before I travel to the US?

The police certificate is just valid for 3 months .And the medical exam is valid for a year .

Don't worry about it .You will not be in trouble .If it will take more than 6 months till the embassy issue you the visa '' I hope and pray it wont take that long '' they will ask you to redo the police certificate . You should be fine don't worry .

I've another question, when do I give them the police certificate? In packet 3 or on the interview? I've read about it over and over but I still get confused.

My wife received a PC with an expiration date on it.... what the consulate told her was that for consulate purposes, it is valid for up to one year even though it had an expiration date on it...

topic regards consulate process.... moving to consulate forum
