You'll need the I-134 for the interview, after getting NOA2. You haven't applied yet, right? So it'll take a few months till you actually need it. Time will vary according to the service center you'll file with and with the waiting time for interviews at the consulate.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Nat,

Tell me that you didn't use I-129, the petition for an alien worker....

Did you read the I-129f instructions? Did you see any mention of including an I-134?

Yodrak

Nat

It's more likely a typo, Yodrak. I don't mean to speak for her, but I think they haven't even applied yet. They thought they'd need to sort the financial requirements to send out the application.

I don't think it's picking dwar... be fair... he wants to make sure that he answers as accurately as possible, which is why he has the reputation he does. It's the thorough people whom I trust...

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

dwar,

The USCIS and DoS know people, as you and I do, only by what the people say and write. If a person does not accurately express their thoughts when presenting information to the USCIS or the DoS they're potentially heading for trouble. Similarly, if on VJ the question they write is not the question that's in their mind because they do not express themselves accurately, the answers they're going to get may not be the information they want and need.

I've never heard of someone who incorrectly submited an I-129, but I have heard of people who submitted G-325 because they failed to distinguish it from the G-325A.

Okay wrong word, but I do get a kick out of it still.

To be fair, Yodrak always cuts to the chase and responds with very knowledgable answers. I have learned alot from him.

Was just trying to add a little comment on how some people view his answers. Like I said personally I like it!!!! No offense meant.

Damn I need to get away from the board for a bit, have had to say that twice today!!!!!!

No harm, dwar...

We've all seen some VERY vague posts... and we've ALL been impatient with our responses. Comes with the territory, and the stress.

devilette,

No, he's not.

Do not ever accept anything I write without critically examining it. I can be, and have been, wrong. Beyond that, many things about immigration are highly subjective. There's no substitute for independent thought.

Yodrak

Yodrak is all-knowing ....

oh, Yodrak, lighten up! I do always do my own research as well. :P But your answers are usually right on.
