Hi VJ!!! may i ask anyone here with a good heart to give me information if how long will the NVC hold up the last paperworks ? is that really takes 3-5 months???? Our I-130 petiton has been approved already dated last March 19, 2010. Will the interview takes 2 months of the prior notice of interview appointment?

God bless...

what paperworks ?

What is the status of the I-129F filed for the K-3 visa ?

If the I-129F was administratively closed at NVC -

then your USC spouse will need to go through NVC processing.

If the I-130 petition was approved in March, and nothing has happened since, I do wonder about what's going on. Maybe you could flesh out yer timeline a bit, over at http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=60139

or write something in yer signature area about yer current status with timeline info at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/user/60139-momabear/ in the 'About Me' section.

If yer USC spouse needs to handle NVC processing, please say so ?

Sorry, not enough background info to accurately answer yer question.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

yup - absolutely !!!

a mini-how-to, when using the payment portal - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

NVC Stuff -

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

Your husband can 'do all' at NVC - not need to engage the attorney, at all, for this step.

if you follow that mini-how-to (click the link above) then it 'can be done' at NVC in about 4 to 6 weeks, if yer USC husband PUSHES ALL into NVC.

Never wait on NVC to 'send you something' - be pro-active.

I don't know, exactly, the 'appointment setting process' for Manila for a CR-1/IR-1. But - usually - an interview 'can be had' within 1 to 2 months after NVC declares 'case complete'.

The online payment portal will give you some status.

AOS FEE BILL RECEIPT AVAILABLE - is ok to d/l the AOS coversheet - print that, send off I-864 pack

IV FEE BILL available to be paid - usually means DS-3032 has been accepted and added to casefile

IV FEE BILL RECEIPT AVAILABLE - is ok to d/l the IV coversheet - print that, send of DS-230 pack

SIGN IN FAIL - NVC has all of the documents in the casefile

Good Luck !

(WOW - I should put this in a wiki page somewhere )

--

but - if you are saying 'all is complete at NVC' then no, I know of no 'online status checking thing' for status AFTER NVC processing, at all. Some timeticks for telephone calling - and to whom -

AFTER SIGN IN FAIL -

NVC - via AVR - case complete

NVC - via Human - FINAL REVIEW

NVC - via Human - Appointment Date Set (MNL may not use this at NVC, I can never remember if MNL sets CR-1 appointment or NVC sets it )

NVC - via Human - Date Casefile left NVC

--

DOS - via Human - Date Casefile was opened at Consulate

DOS - via Human - Appointment Date (optional, but they have it )

DOS - via Human - General Casefile Status

DOS - via Human - Results of Interview

HTH !
