:huh: Well, its a little sad to see all our posts gone. Who knows? They may return someday! Nigeria won again! Other than that, I hope everybody's case is moving along nicely and that all of us with our hubbies are having fun this weekend. And relaxing. Just had to see some sort of post in here.

Yes, my husband was very happy that Nigeria won. He was also surprised that Ghana won to Senegal.

Met on internet 6/04. Married at court house in Aba, Nigeria 12/04. 3/05 traditional ceremony in Nigeria w/ my picture. 12/05 finally together again. 4/06 ceremony/celebration in the states together

Sorry to see all the post gone, I 'll have to reprint some of what I've printed somday soon. Glad to hear that Nigeria won the match !!! I don't totally understand soccer and all the different positions but I do have to learn for Obinna Jr. sake, he's only 7-months now so I guess I got another 2-years to learn. The USA is starting to win some games also, I do know over the years soccer hasen't been one of our best sports, hopefully all of that will change.

Ain't a big fan of soccer, but hubby is ecstatic about his team(Nigeria) winning also. He's been celebrating ever since. About the old posts, well hopefully we'll get to read them again. Truthfully I'm just posting to see what will now come under my name... :-)

Renious has been watching the Ghana games. He will call me at work to tell me what is happening in the game. It's hilarious to see how into these games he gets.

We got our rings today. Mine turned out really well. His is also good, but could have been better. They are matching, but his should be a little bigger proportionally. No matter, b/c I love mine and he doesn't seem all that concerned about his.

Anyway, we are doing well here. Hope you all are also well.

Hello Everyone,

I see this board is a mess right now. Hadn't checked in a few days and thought what the heck. But anyway, life goes on. I hope all are doing well and those who still waiting for their love ones, will end the distance soon. My hubby and I are doing wonderful. We finally got all of the AOS, done. With my demanding job, it took us a while to get everything together.

I got a question for who are waiting on the EAD, is your spouse getting restless. I keep trying to re-assure him, we won't go hungry or in the dark, but my goodness. It's a battle. But I know its all about a man taking care of his family, but just chill won't he...... :whistle:

I've yet to see a lazy Nigerian man! Though my husband got pretty sick for the the first two months so that sort of stalled him a bit. Glad things are going wonderful for you. We're almost 6 months married now and its fantabulous. :D Your husband can start Americanizing his resume and making contacts==so that when he gets his EAD he has a head start. That's what my hubby did--and by the time my husband got his EAD, he was able to start work the follwing Monday.

Yes, my husband was looking forward to a nap yesterday, but when I e-mailed him in the middle of the day, he said he couldn't sleep because he was anxiously awaiting the results of the match (there is no way for him to watch it so he kept checking online). Then, after they won, he couldn't nap because he was so happy. Go, Nigeria, Go. (okay, that's about as sporty as I get :P ).

Hehe. I 'get' to watch the highlights of each game when I come home from work. Actually its not bad--just 13 minutes of the best plays.
