Im not sure if anyone has had this happen to them, but i got my EAD card in the mail and noticed that it said DOB Unknown..which is strange... all that info is stated on my application AND fingerprint info.

Just wondering if its such a big deal to begin with.. i have my birth certificate and passport to prove my country of birth if someone needed to know. It should be ok right?

I called the customer service line and the lady said that i have to fill out another 765 application.. thats gonna take another 3 months to get my EAD??

Maybe I should wait for my AOS interivew and see if i can fix the problem with the officer there? My interview is in a week.. maybe i'll wait till then..

Also, when you get your conditional PR status/green card, do you still need to renew the EAD after the one year expiry is up on the card? Im thinking as long as you have your green card you should be able to work and do whatever..

Need some answers please.

thanks

Rob and Jessica

DOB means Date of Birth, is your country information missing as well? I don't think your country of origin would be needed on your EAD. Ask at your interview why your date of birth was printed as "unknown". It is no big deal but a little weird. At least you got it, Congratulations!
