Wow. VJ is a virtual wasteland.

*tumbleweed*

I guess everyone's watching the world cup.

Pouring rain here.

So lonely.

:P

It is raining here with a balmy 11 degrees. It's just cold here and has been for a few weeks, rains and rains.

Staples just delivered my new printer, I bought a kodak because their cartridges are so much cheaper. Need to print out my tax returns.

I have been window shopping at penneys online for the last 2 hours!!

I'm not watching the World Cup. Wouldn't know who to cheer for. Maybe England? I dunno.

Anyhoo, I woke up to send the hubby OFF TO WORK TODAY!!! Then was up for an hour, and said 'screw this' and went back to bed. hah! He called me on his lunch break... apparently he works with all women, except for one other guy. They're in a different room, but still his department. They have 'cake' day every Wednesday or something, and bagel day every Tuesday? Something like that. And tomorrow they're all going to the beach at lunch time for a luau. #######

I told him to make sure he wears his wedding ring to work every day. LOL

No, I'm ok with L.A., but my wife hates it and never really got used to it here, so we're looking at moving to Canada.

Aww, sorry to hear that, but I totally understand. I feel the same way your wife does. I still think we might move back some day, but who knows.

btw... are you interested in attending the NHL draft at the Staples Centre? I can tell you how to get free tickets. That sound sleezy. But really!

Anyways, there's the infamous roadtocanada website, which finally seems up and running again! That should be helpful :)

Where the heck is your husband working Ashen?! Sounds like an interesting atmosphere

Today I had to go to an insurance class all day and learn about homeowner forms. Yay. I spent the entire class trying not to fall asleep, after being waken up at 4:45am this morning by my mother in law. The alarm at the business my husband runs was going off, and they said they were detecting motion in the building. So of course they call us, and my husband runs out of bed and goes down to work. I couldn't sleep because I had visions of him showing up and confronting a gang of burglars like Batman or something. In the end, it was a false alarm, so I got to be exhausted for nothing. I'm relieved nothing was wrong, but It doesn't make me any less tired!

Well, there certainly is nothing to feel sorry for. It's not like i'm being exiled to Zimbabwe. It will be an adjustment for sure. She did it for me, so the least I can do is move for her. Besides, living in L.A. is kind of insane when you are thinking about starting a family. Homes are just too expensive here, and the cost of living is just too high to sustain.

I went to roadtocanada and well, that gives new meaning to 'ghost town'. :help:

I spent a week in So Cal back in 2008 and there's no way this small town Canadian could live there. It's just insane. Tons of people, everything costs a fortune, you can't get anywhere without getting caught in a traffic jam, it's stupid hot... I could keep going! I can imagine it would be a really hard adjustment to make.

It's not incredible... part-time job at Macy's, at the ritzier mall in our area... and I'm probably not even close to a good fit for it, but still... gives me hope.

Well, you're just looking at the negatives there. I love the diversity in culture and foods. I love that there are always things to do and places to see.

Well, I'm not trying to suggest there aren't any positives. There definitely is lots to do and see. It's a nice place to visit, but I couldn't imagine living there. It just seems to suffocating and far off from what I'm used to. To each their own I suppose!

If your husband can confront burglars like Batman, I really dont know why you couldnt sleep, he sounds pretty damn awesome wink.gif
