We're going on a trip to the west coast next summer and is it sort of sad that I am most excited about trying In-N-Out?

In-N-Out is good. There are better places here. You should be more excited about getting to taste real mexican food

Big D's Enter-out in El Monte has similar burgers as In-N-Out but I think they are better..

the last couple of burgers I have had at In-N-Out haven't been that great...

but the best burger and fries I have had in a Fast Food type place is in West Covina at a place called The Burger Depot...

oh and Nev if you go to Cali you should stop by Olvera Street and grab some Mexican Food at Rodolfo's... they have the best enchiladas I have ever tasted and their beans are amazing!! Even my husband says it is the best Mexican food he has had and he has eaten all kinds of Mexican food.

I was really disappointed with In-N-Out. Too much bun, not enough meat. Maybe I didn't get the right thing? I don't know. I just had an idea in my head that it would be fantastic and it didn't live up to it. We're going to Phoenix in a couple months, so maybe I'll give it another try.

I still love Harvey's burgers, nothing compares.

That's what I LOVE about the Harvey's burger. The thing with them though? That burger stink does NOT wash off your hands -- you pretty much need a shower after a burger.

:)

Omg I love Harveys too... my husband doesn't though he says their patties taste like sausage... blink.gif

I had a good friend who worked at Harvey's in high school and we would always hang out with her when her shifts ended. Man, she stunk like burgers!! It wasn't really a bad thing either.. Thankfully my husband thinks they're as awesome as I do. Whenever he would come visit me in Canada we had to go at least once!

My husband doesn't eat meat anymore.... so burgers is hard because I do enjoy them once in a while, and he's always like: "Whats the veggie option?"

We don't have an In and Out here...not sure where they start either, so it may be a while before I can find out if I like them or not..

I forget we do have a Harvey's though. It's not located in the area of town we usually go to, so that's why it's usually forgotten. This town is spread out funny..

LOL, The Habit isn't just local, it started in L.A. and are all over California.

I didn't like Harvey's, at all. The burger itself was dry, and it wasn't that tasty.

Huggles, if you are looking for a giant burger rather than just a normal sized one that tastes good, try Fat Burger. Their king burger is enormous (and very good too).
