Yea my boss was fired on Friday and I guess hard work pays off, I have pretty much been doing her job since I got there, all administrative tasks have been me. It's going to be a process though, they don't want to rile up other employees and I am to lay low for a bout of month and get some extra training from the CFO.

** ya.. life rules!

wait wait..is this the beatch that sat on her a$$ and did sweet fa and made you do all kinds of her work? LOL Congrats!!!

I agree with lgg, I'm very interested in the developments in this soap opera. (seriously, getting married to someone after 3 weeks and then complaining? ####### did she think was going to happen?)

First, I've also been to Pismo Beach, Joyce, and I love it there! It's such a fun beach to hang out on. :) Haven't done the dune buggies yet. I have a hard time convincing hubby to do it. lol

Sprail, congrats!! :) That is awesome news. I'm glad hard work pays off.

I would love to know why I thought it was a good idea to work in the garden when it's about a billion percent humidity outside. At least it looks pretty. <_<

Funny story. Well, I'm not sure if it's funny or sad or stupid...

A girl from the office met this guy online like 4 weeks ago. They went on one date and decided they were madly in love. So she comes into work two weeks ago and tells us they are getting married, after only knowing each other for 3 weeks. A few of my coworkers tried to talk her out of it, but of course she's so in love, their soul mates and meant to be together, yada yada, and nobody understands the amazing power of their love. So last Saturday they go down to the court house and elope, 3 1/2 weeks after their first date. To make it even better, they're both 20 years old.

So it's been a week and a few days. He calls the office constantly and asks for her. He comes into the office almost daily and bothers her. She complains about how he's annoying her and doesn't give her any space, he keeps her up at night, he feels the need to give her a play by play of his day, he doesn't know how to be assertive, he's bad with money... I could keep going. They've been married for a week! Nothing like getting to know someone before you tie the knot.

Bahahaha! Thats nuts!

Yes it is! :D

I mean she was nice, and funny but she sure made me feel like I was doing all of her work and she was taking home the nice salary.

Congrats! Thats awesome! Love to see hard work paying off!

I am contemplating going back to my old job, that is if they need me or would take me back....

I really need to work and I liked how they were always very flexible, like if I needed to take a day off here and there...

and the job would be a little easier come September because the oldest one starts Kindergarten...

Oh my god! I am doing this right now! well, i'm on a break from the sun at the moment. I mowed the lawn at like 9am and it almost killed me and now I'm weeding the ####### patch at the front of the house. It's hard work and it's like almost 95 here today -- I am wearing black cotton yoga pants and the sweat stains on the front look like I've peed my pants. I don't care. i am covered in grass, dirt and sweat but I'm going to make it look like we're not white trash today!

:D

PS I thought I would do all this in lieu of my run today but I swear I am sweating way more doing this.

Plus I'm dirty.

I would love to know why I thought it was a good idea to work in the garden when it's about a billion percent humidity outside. At least it looks pretty. <_<
