Yea my boss was fired on Friday and I guess hard work pays off, I have pretty much been doing her job since I got there, all administrative tasks have been me. It's going to be a process though, they don't want to rile up other employees and I am to lay low for a bout of month and get some extra training from the CFO.

i like homemade better too but the last time I made it a few months back I got sick.. I have a slight lactose intolerance problem but I thought it would be ok because the milk was cooked but I guess the milk in combination with the cheese etc was just too much for my body to handle... I can eat KD though with no problems.. and I usually eat it with hot-dogs in it too..lol sometimes I had vegies too, like corn...

Try using lactose-free milk.

Speaking of bosses...my boss quit yesterday. Just like walked out and quit. Oh yeah, and it was during our audit! The auditor thought that we were joking and that he left for lunch but when he didn't come back The Terminator(our affectionate new name for him, LOL) was really freaked out. Said he'd never had that happen to him before. Never really thought he'd have a meltdown and leave just because of an audit.

Wow. That's a bit extreme. LOL

Funny story. Well, I'm not sure if it's funny or sad or stupid...

A girl from the office met this guy online like 4 weeks ago. They went on one date and decided they were madly in love. So she comes into work two weeks ago and tells us they are getting married, after only knowing each other for 3 weeks. A few of my coworkers tried to talk her out of it, but of course she's so in love, their soul mates and meant to be together, yada yada, and nobody understands the amazing power of their love. So last Saturday they go down to the court house and elope, 3 1/2 weeks after their first date. To make it even better, they're both 20 years old.

So it's been a week and a few days. He calls the office constantly and asks for her. He comes into the office almost daily and bothers her. She complains about how he's annoying her and doesn't give her any space, he keeps her up at night, he feels the need to give her a play by play of his day, he doesn't know how to be assertive, he's bad with money... I could keep going. They've been married for a week! Nothing like getting to know someone before you tie the knot.

Oh, the impetuosity of youth! Are you taking bets yet on how soon it will be until the divorce?

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
