Hey Sprails,

My sister in B.C. saw us!!!! She PVRed it. That's too hilarious. I would like to NOT see it.

I don't know if any of you Canadians saw but lgg and I were on CTV last night! :D

They interviewed us at the embassy because we were so festive! :P

It really was fun and we went to Virginia afterwards for some poutine - which really was the crappiest version we ever had but it we still ate it.

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

So yesterday we went to Varba's cousin's for supper. He made ribs, it was yumm. On the way home we stopped at Varba's uncle's place because he had shoulder surgery yesterday (to check up on him because Varba's mom is out of town) and ended up having to take him back to the hospital because he was in so much pain. I felt so bad for him, I can't imagine how much pain he was in. It was so bad that he wasn't himself, and actually said "I wish someone would shoot me and put me out of my misery". So the doctor doped him up good and we brought him to Varba's other uncle's place to spend the night. Quite an interesting Canada Day.

On a better note..David and i got the apartment and we moved yesterday! OMG im so sore and omg soo tired.

So like WTH are sicadas?? i thought i heard car alarms going off and david said welcome to chicago LOL....i do not wanna see what that bug looks like..and they had fireworks going for the 4th already..i took it in stride and said they were celebrating Canada day!

so like..can i not move for a few years? :lol: moved like 6 times in the last 1.5 years..please...no more lol

Congratulations on the new apartment! Cicadas are huge big whirry-winged bugs that make great cat toys! You can hear them make a high pitched chittery noise especially at night. They are totally harmless, though, and I actually find their singing restful. When I still lived in St. Catharines and my cats were indoor/outdoor, I remember waking up in the middle of the night hearing this angering chittering from inside. One of my cats had caught a cicada and brought into the house through the cat door to play with! It kept trying to fly away and he kept pouncing on it. That was one annoyed bug!:lol:

Congrats on the new apartment. Cicada's make good toys for our lab puppy, when she gets a hold of one she runs around like a wild animal with a motor in her mouth. She spit it out to make sure its still alive then grabs it and starts running all over again. Well till its dead anyways. They do get really loud here though.

So on weekends for this month, I am cleaning one of my in-laws shore houses just to bring in some extra money. It's on saturday mornings and my husband and I will drive down and clean, it's quick and painless usually. Today we walked in, linens were already washed, everything was spotless... easiest money I ever made. :lol: We just made sure everything was fine, which it was and got back in our cars and came back home. :lol:

We went all over today looking for the new iphone 4 and to no avail so we finally admitted defeat and went to order it at the AT&T store.. should be there in about a week. Good thing is, they've been ordered. :D

Hubby and I just joined the cool kids club and got iPhone's today. Had to order the iPhone 4 for me, and John got the 3GS.

Yay...I can finally get text messages and not have to worry about paying per message anymore. I was so cheap :lol::D

I got a new car! :)

The husband and I went down to the car lot to "look" We had a pact to play tough and not commit to anything. 3 hours later we drove off the lot with the car... :lol: But, they made us a good offer and I love it.
