Chest X-ray to be given at POE?

It was a relief to pick up my medical results today. One more thing to check off my list. I know the chest x-ray doesn't need to be taken to the interview in Montreal so does that mean it's given at the POE when I activate my visa? Silly question but it'll be one less thing to worry or wonder about. Thanks!

no, you don't have to give it to anyone at the POE either.. there is an off chance they might want to see it but I highly doubt it..

I never had to show it and I don't recall anyone here on VJ that has had to

You can keep it as a souvenir, or provide it to your new health care provider in the US as the a starting point of your health records in the US. There is no need for POE to see the x-ray - only a radiologist is able to read it. The radiologist's report is in the medical report which will be inside the big brown sealed envelope that you will receive with the visa and turn in at the border.

The chest x-ray is for your medical records. May never be needed again but always good to hang on to. Try not to bend or fold it or it may be rendered useless. They are a pain to carry around but we hand carried ours to prevent damage.

a good way to transport and store it is to roll it up and put it in one of those tube things...

Or if you're lucky, you get your xray on a CD! I think I lost mine already...
