The Vent Part Quatre

Well, this is my first post on here, and yes, I do need to vent about something, or some things...

1st:

P3 has been logged for 43 days and no interview date yet. Yeah yeah, I know you guys are way past that point, but GOSH is it ever frustrating to wait for a date and not know if one is actually gonna pop up for the next month, or if you're gonna wait around for another 2-3 months...

2nd:

A 17 year-old mother left her 3 weeks old baby in a car seat on the floor in her living room while she went outside for a cigarette, and her roomate's husky bit the baby and killed it. I don't know what's more frustrating here, the fact that she had a baby at 17, the fact that she smokes, the fact that she left her 3 weeks old unnatended on the floor with dogs around or a combination of all these points...

How's that for my first vent?

If it helps at all, we have all been there *hugs* It would be so nice if they gave you a date even if its 4 months out rather than waiting 4 months to hear "oh yeah its in 3 weeks"

The second part...the woman, the dog and the person who owns it all need a smuck upside the head.

I read the story about the baby and the dog attack.

It's all very sad, but i'm also quite puzzled. They arrested the Grand Mother as well. She was just visiting her Daughter. I guess if she had 5 guests over at the time they would all have been arrested too?

Secondly, it's a tragedy. The Mother was only 17, could it have been avoided? No doubt. But it's a tragedy for the baby and for the Mother. As for the fact that she smokes - I see that as a total non-issue.

Oh, but the glow!

Over-rated!

Oh oh. That's how hubby "trapped" me...

My boobies sabotaged me during sex last night. He suckled one of my nipples and got a shot of pre-milk liquid (colostrum) in his mouth. It surprised him that he went immediately limp--and that was the end of sex. :(

about the girl that left her baby unattented with the huskies, I would presume the grandmother was arrested because she was the only adult present at the scene since the "mother" was a minor.

I'm gonna skip right over the TMI sex story, though it is hilarious.... LOL Sorry Reven...

But here's my vent, related to all the baby talk happening. So, today I did this tweet (which referenced a recent job interview that my husband had, and me getting EAD, and AP, and expecting AOS shortly): "This week and month could bring some interesting things for Dan and I. Hopefully the first one is a job for him. *waiting*" and a friend of mine from London DMs me saying "What's the other interesting thing...a small last name as well??" so then I says "Hell F'ing NO, and don't ever say that again.".

Which leads me to my vent. lol We've been married for less than 5 months.. and frankly as far as I'm concerned, didn't even get to have a real wedding.. and I don't have a job! And my husband doesn't even have a job! And we've only known each other 2 years anyways... AND there's about a billion things I want to do in life before having a baby, not to mention TRY to enjoy being married (which, honestly, has been hard to do in our current financial situation)... I don't care that I'm 29 yrs old and my clock is ticking. Just because I'm married, doesn't mean a baby is arriving ASAP, if AT ALL for that matter. GAWD I HATE THAT STEREOTYPE.... ok done.

Hey Danu...

If I may suggest? Set up your EI account online, if you haven't, and just keep track of the dates cards are due and such. If I haven't received mine by the date I'm supposed to send them in, I call. If by a day or two before we're to be paid, I call and they process them over the phone. For some reason, I find them a little bit lax on sending me the new batch of cards that I need for the next period. I have discovered that just because they didn't send you a card doesn't mean you have to wait.

Sorry for the hassle you're going through -- if I can help, feel free to PM me.

:D

Yup, we're all set! lol. My vent? The EI ppl didn't send me my report card. I called to get their fax # to send my EAD and let them know I didn't get my report card and they still didn't send them. Or rather, they didnt reissue them as the first ones were apparently sent back. Which is odd cuz I've gotten all the others. Due to this there is now a failure to reply on my account and I have to send them all the info I can to plead with them to open up and backdate my payments. GRRRRR!

That is HOT, Reven! Are you farting a lot too? ;)
