Ok so my wife is about to go to the biometrics 485/765 interview on the 25th. I am currently deployed military. Does the process/interview require my presence? I will not be back for quite a long time, and she needs her i-94 updated. Her drivers license will expire based on the approved K-1 I-94.

She cannot update her K1 I-94. Her licence will expire and she will not be able to renew until she gets her EAD and/or GC. This does change from state to state but it's pretty common for it to be the way I stated.

The biometrics does not require your presence though.

Actually. She just went down today and asked for an extension. She presented the NOA documents, and they said it would suffice for an extension. =)

and thats in Arizona, where they just passed the strict immigration laws.

An extension on her I-94?? She's a K1, she needs the original I-94 so I hope they didn't take it.

Or are you referring to her driver's licence?.. that would make sense, some are okay with the NOA1 but it's rare.. good on you for checking! I know my state isn't :(
