Wanting to know if there is a place to find a trend of the AP in morocco...I found the AP tracker, but it doesn't look like there are too many from morocco listed (could have missed them though...lol) And just to be sure...Does AP mean approval or still a maybe? Our replies started with them saying the CO was reviewing the information and today they said its in AP..so does that mean AP started from the interview or what the CO was done reviewing all of the evidence we provided at the interview?? Also, what all is reviewed in AP? Is it just name & security checks for him, or do they also go in to checking my stuff; employment, etc? I'm sure this has all been answered here before, but my searching has not brought me much luck & my daughter & i r leaving back to the US in 4 days...so i'm getting a little...ok ALOT...anxious. Thanks for any pointers. I heard from another that they were put in to AP & then denied...so now I don't know what to think. Thanks for the helpl & Hope everyone is having a good week.

But if that was the case wouldn't the embassy say that it had been returned to USCIS? Because from the sounds of what they have told me its still at the embassy...

We filed a CR1 which isn't your case, but after my husband has his interview they told him to wait for a call and sent him away with his passport. I emailed the consulate everyday for a week cause I too was waiting in Morocco so he could come home with me and my kids. The consulate said his case was in AP and that it was done in Washington DC (no other explanation)-then they got sick of me and told me to stop emailing them :) LOL :unsure: It was about two weeks or a little less and he got a call to drop off his passport and that we would get a call to pick it up...couple days later we were approved! I know its so frustrating not knowing, especially when you have to go back. Keep your chin up and think positive. Don't worry away your time that you are spending together right now. I wish you both the best!

Your case is in AP. Administrative Processing or Administrative Review. For male beneficiaries out of a high-fraud country, this is a given. AP can range anywhere for a few weeks to a few months. Nothing is going to make them hurry up.

03/27/2009: Engaged in Ithaca, New York.

Usually it means you're good on the consulate level. But they have to send it to the US just for background purposes. It can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to three months. We got ours in two months. They don't recommend you call until 90 days. I told myself I'd call after 60 days and then he got the call on the 60th day. So I think you should just sit back and not worry until a copule of months pass. I have friends in the foreign service and they say the consulates have nothing to do with this step. So just wait!!
