You may want to give them a call as well. Though its a pain to get through, when you finally do, they are pretty helpful. Well, helpful compared to the USCIS LOL! They may be able to give you a bit more insight.

Tina, I think Chennai U.S consulate is an exception. They take a validity of 6 months for PCC. But I think rest of the Indian Consulate takes 1 year validity. Loto

I know...USCIS sucks, every phone call me and my husband gave them was kind a usless, but NVC i did call them day before thanksgiving and they were very polite and helpfull so i guess we'll give it another try on Monday. This wait wait and wait.sucks too.

Did you email it with Attn Supervisor Sue in a subject line?

First email i sent without it, never got reply, but the second one was sent with Attn: Supervisor Sue in subject line, and it was sent on Sunday , got a reply the very next day.

No I just used the format Case number beneficiaries name. Where did you get the "ATTN: Supervisor Sue" from? Did you talk to someone directly? I may have to give it a try and see what happens.

Yep, i checked what other people where doing and sent email with this subject line :

Subject: Attn: Supervisor Sue, NVC Case Number XXXXXXXXX- My Last Name, My First Name, DOB XX/XX/XXXX.

Also didn't wait for them to send me the bar coded form, made my own bar code, scaned the form and emailed it.

Give it a try, i bet you'll get reply maybe even today.

Email has to come from the beneficiary, and i used that same template just added Sup. Sue in subject line.

So, I may be a bit dense (I work nights and it was a long weekend so bare with me :) ) Did you send the template, and scan in the form with the barcode? We were already emailed the barcoded form to fill out. In the email she already sent, it was just the template, no form. This may explain the problem.
