Service request submitted to USCIS today, so let's see what happens now....she had to speak to a supervisor a couple times, so wondering if there was a major stuff up, as the request was going to the local office (Charleston). I wasn't sure if that was a Tier one person or immigration officer, but glad it is in the system now.

Thanks! Yes, they can be, I used the 'don't press any buttons and stay on the line to get the live person' trick. It was that simple.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

I don't know how many June filers are left, safe to say probably the last one, so this post will confirm just about all our June filers have successfully negotiated AOS. I've got a post about this on main AOS board. Thank you for the advice and encouragement!

Maybe the problem was that Vermont doesn't have a port.
