Still waiting it's been a month now since our service request was put in and still nothing. Going to have to call USCIS tomorrow after work. Good luck everybody!!!

After they touched us nothing happened. I'll call USCIS tomorrow and ask for the service request. The immigration officer said to me that I can call 20 days after the last time we spoke (that was the last month) and she'll send a service request and it's tomorrow. I thought that they'll approve us till then, but they didn't do anything with our case...we're still on the initial review!

All this started to look like a bad joke...Honestly I don't know what they are doing???

Didn't they checked all of us before we got K1?

I received my green card by post on Dec 5th! Finally no more USCIS until Oct 26th 2012. Cliched at it might sound it would have simply not been possible without Visa Journey. We filed for my K1 in Dec 09 and I cannot thank vis journey enough for how much help I've received since then.

Wishing the rest of you a speedy journey towards the green card. Good Luck.

I just made a service request. An immigration officer with who I spoke was very nice and she said that in the next 30 days I should receive a notice from them, if not I have to call back.

When I was on the line waiting for, I heard something what I didn't want to hear  , that we have to give them 180 days to resume the case since we are transferred! 180 days! Not 180 days since they got our documents! It's a month more...

Yesterday was 6 months since we sent our papers... I just don't know what to say anymore.

Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.

Sent from California on 12/13. I want to finish this phase and don't have anything with the USCIS for the next few years.:bonk:

It would be nice to get the best Christmas gift...GC :jest::energy::goofy:

Lets hope that they didn't forget us and that we'll finish this year like a permanent residents. (F):luv:
