Cool, looking at your timeline, I could predict that we'll get our EAD today..... but it seems kinda hard to find her a job in this economy without any job experience and having a Master's degree alone.

Yeah today will probably be your day.

My husband doesn't have a lot of the required experience or references so he has prepared himself that he is going be at the bottom of the todem pole for a while

Congrats! Yes! And you may start applying for jobs now.

Thanks a lot!

Actually, I found a job 5 months ago, while I was still in France waiting for my K-1 visa. I have some friends who want me to work for them at their pharmacy. I can't wait to start working with them.

Sorry, since the average is about 100 days from AOS filing, and today marks about 60 days, I figure we have another 40 more to go for the Green Card.

So yes, based on that math, you should be getting your green card very soon.

I just spent 15 minutes starring at a map of France trying to remember where my great great great grandma was from. I was looking over the names to see if they would ring a bell but I couldn't find it. I know it was in the North and was a name like Alsace-Lorraine, but I could only find avenues and not the town. I'll have to ask my Mom later and see what she remembers. I could be completely off on the name. I remember once that her home town was included in a special on television here when they were doing a story on storming the beaches of Normandy.

Anyways, I hope that you get your EAD soon as well.

Congrats! I haven't checked the mail today. blush.gif

Day 76 of AOS processing, I suspect because it took three weeks to get the documents for RFE, it'll be later for the EAD and hoping it will be here soon so I can get to look for a job at least. Based on some comments saying it's average of 100 days for AOS, there's 25 days to go for the GC approval. (assuming no interview) As I'm already past the EAD processing period, I'll wait till Mid Sept to see if I'm right.
