I FINALLY got my biometrics letter today... LOL!!!

I will wait til my actual appointment because I want to go to my homecountry 9-15 til 10-12 and I want them to kinda take their time with the interview letter :):) At least the case is moving now!!

YAY, finally!! That took long enough!

Now you can sit back and relax. :) Have a great trip!

I also took two months worth, and he didn't ask for anything specifically, he said "do you have any documents that you wish for us to put on file?" and that was when I gave him our bank statements for two months and offered to give him our insurance documents with both of our names on them which he declined to take.

another update! we got the green card in the mail today :) so i shall now go on vacation from USCIS for 2 years thank God! best of luck to everyone thank you!

Our adjudicator DID ask to see both of our passports. Bring your birth certificate (assuming your were born in the USA) and state issued ID and I think you will be fine. :)

At our interview, IO didn't ask any documentation from my hubby who is USC.

Just received wife's Advance Parole document in the mail today and also noticed that after our AOS case was transferred to CSC, the website now indicates that the transfer has occured and is now being processed.

i have had no touch on the AOS since 7/21/10...do you guys think i still need to wait before i call them?

I'd call USCIS to make sure what is going on. At least you'll know something and can go from there.

Received e-notification stating "we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS." But I've already received welcome letter on Monday that was issued 17th... Feels like my application is moving backwards..Strange :wacko:

I've been transferred to CSC!

On August 26, 2010, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

Two and a bit days after response to RFE was received. Great news! Hope everyone also is sailing smoothly!

My Current Case Status for Form I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION:

"On August 26, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you."

I'm so happy! Does that mean I can start working as soon as I receive the card?

Cool, looking at your timeline, I could predict that we'll get our EAD today..... but it seems kinda hard to find her a job in this economy without any job experience and having a Master's degree alone.
