After so much frustration with hubby for not taking me to an early walk-in (sigh) ...finally had my biometrics done today.

Got an email this morning stating that it was mailed yesterday!!

Hardcopy of AP arrived in mail today.

We are getting touched almost everyday lately...hopefully EAD will be mailed soon

Our case was sent back to the local office yesterday, why they wasted a week and transferred to CSC makes no sense to me

You may want to double check the wording of the notice you received. We received one about a week after our transfer to CSC that made me think it was sent back to my local office, when what it actually said was that CSC had received it and has started to work on our case again. What was the wording of the one that made you think it was sent back to your local office?

The notice actually means that the CSC has received your case and resumed processing, not to worry

And for the EAD approvals, you should receive the card up to 5 days after the third notification (the "mailed"/post descision activity).

Look out for the oversized white envelope

I haven't been home in a few weeks and was delighted to come home to the Interview letter! It turns out that it's been sitting there for around 2 weeks! (The notice date was July 23rd). Our appointment is set for Sept. 1st I'm so excited! Time to get organized!

After 2 months of waiting i receive a mail saying my EAD production is ordered!

Question:

My wife's EAD/AP were touched three times in the past week. Her EAD was approved and card production started. That is good news, but we were really hoping for the AP since I am deploying soon and she will go back to Korea after I leave.

Is it possible that they only updated the website/text/email for the EAD and not the AP? It seems they usually approve both on the same day...

Our interview is on Monday and finally got all the documents and photos ready..

Getting a bit nervous already

well we finally got our letters. they were in the mail box and roomate i thought was checking it. We have sept 2nd at 8:15 in las vegas. That throws a wrinkle in my vacation. We have to postpone trip to San Fransico.

Now question where do we look on what to bring and what should we have. I am screwed on some things. I have NO DOCUMENTS with her name living here but Casino cards from Casinos. I have a phone bill with my name and her phone number but no proof she lives here and we rent a room from a my best friend.

Bank and driver license we can't get because the I-94 expired they said. WHAT DO WE DO, We need to get something fast in her name or i fear we might get rejected. I have a BABY WITH HER but as I have read, that isn't proof enough. We go on the 19th for a Dr. appointment maybe get that in her name. I do have inssurance but they won't let me put her on my life insurrance till the first of the year. WHAT CAN WE DOOO AHHHH

What some people do is get a sworn statement from someone else living there saying that you have both resided at the same residence since __________ etc.

Do you guys have any memberships together? Is she listed as your emergency contact for anything? Pictures are great too.
