So...I also follow the April 10' filers, and most everyone is getting their GC and describing their interview experiences. You guys should def have a look when you have some time. Mostly- the theme seems to be requests for pictures, accounts, and other proof of co-habitation. My huband and I had a court wedding with a small little party thrown by my cousin...hope that will suffice. (thinking of a destination reception in Thailand next year). We also don't believe in joint accounts...yet(maybe when we have children) so...I might have a little explaning to do- but hopefully we will be fine. We have travelled together, have pictures of our engagement party in India, and several others to prove that we are a bonafide couple.

jwife seems to be on the spot atleast with our interview as well he seemed more interested in our proof of residency more. he also took a few of our wedding photos and kept him, he stapled them inside our big file he had kept our bank statemnt and bank letter stating joint account plus we gave an affidavit from my parents stating we live with them.

just checkd the uscis site today and it got touched as well on aug 11:) saying card production has been orderd its great to see the last dot filled since throughout our case the initial review was always filled, they never updated it since they recieved our aos aplication....so anyone who has no touches, dont worry they might not do any touches at all...

anyone have an idea of the average time it will take to recieve the card after card production ordered? anyways good luck to evryone again!

Congratulations to everyone so far who have gotten their approvals for AP/EAD and interviews letters. I had a question regarding the EAD. So far i have gotten 3 notices. First and second notice was for card/document production. I just got another notice today that stated:

Your case status: Post Decision Activity

Does anybody know what that means????? Thanks!

June 2nd 2010- Filed for adjustment of status

June 16th 2010- Biometrics letter received scheduled for July 9th.

August 9th 2010- AOS interview letter received. Interview scheduled for September 21st, 2010.

August 14th 2010- EAD arrived finally!!!! Thank you God.

September 21st 2010- GC Interview @ 0100

April 20, 2011- Applied to renew EAD &AP (paper)

May 9, 2011- AP RECEIVED! Talk about fast service!

June 8, 2011- EAD card received!

September 20th, 2011- Home visit by USCIS officers!!!!

November 21st- Fingerprint notice for Dec1st

December 5th- Card Production Ordered email/text

December 7th- Card production ordered again email/text

December 8th- Decision on case status email/text

I got three notice and I checked USCIS web for my status.

It says:

Post Decision Activity

On August 11, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Hi,

finally some good news...my AP has been approved this morning. I asked to expedite it 3 days ago. There was also a touch on my EAD but nothing was approved (probably because I didn't get my biometrics letter yet).

At least I can travel home to Germany now and after i get back ... 3 month will be over and I can go and pick up my EAD!

Still wondering when I will get my biometrics appointment!
