Logged on to the USCIS site this morning and saw that my AOS got touched today, none of the others were, just wondering if they were perhaps sending the pack to the office that I will be having the interview at (20th Aug) as I wasn't expecting any changes in progress until after the interview now.

We just received this email:

On August 2, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice.

I'm so relieved because I never got a 2nd notification like a lot of other people. I can't wait to FINALLY be able to work! :dance:

Hopefully when I go home to check the mail in a few days I'll also get an interview letter... A girl can dream, right? :)

Congratulations to all the AP's, EAD & GC approvals and good luck to all having interviews soon. Still no touch on my case since my walk-in biometrics; I am getting a little worried. I wish I could get touched :(

Don't worry about no touch on your case.

I had no touch since 6/28 right after my biometrics and received interview notice out of blue & EAD card production notice via text!

Fist time ever received any notice electorically....

They are just not good with updated :)

It will happen before you know it!

We just received this email:

My EAD is in production now, finally :dance:

I guess it's time for me to start working again...I could've mind being a housewife for a little bit longer though :P

I had no touch since 6/28 (after biometrics appt), but received notice for interview a few weeks ago...

Things definitely happens out of blue so don't worry, all the cases are moving forward :)

AOS Timeline:

June 2nd 2010- Filed for adjustment of status

June 16th 2010- Biometrics letter received scheduled for July 9th.

August 9th 2010- AOS interview letter received. Interview scheduled for September 21st, 2010.

August 14th 2010- EAD arrived finally!!!! Thank you God.

September 21st 2010- GC Interview @ 0100

April 20, 2011- Applied to renew EAD &AP (paper)

May 9, 2011- AP RECEIVED! Talk about fast service!

June 8, 2011- EAD card received!

September 20th, 2011- Home visit by USCIS officers!!!!

November 21st- Fingerprint notice for Dec1st

December 5th- Card Production Ordered email/text

December 7th- Card production ordered again email/text

December 8th- Decision on case status email/text

December 10th -GREEN CARD RECEIVED IN THE MAIL, WHOOP WHOOP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just checked our case status right now and found out that the AOS has been touched yesterday. I checked with the case number and it showed 'Request for Evidence'

On August 2, 2010, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Does this mean we were sent an RFE? :wacko:

From research on this site, I think that means you did get an RFE. :angry: On the bright side, at least you know they are working on your file.

To everyone else,

Congrats on your interview dates, EAD's, etc....

We still have not received a biometrics appointment letter. I contacted my congressman's office by phone and they didn't respond for a week so I went into the office and spoke with "liason" for government offices. She was not very helpful, I was trying to get EAD expediated, not so he can work, although that would be nice, but because here in California, you can't drive after your I-94 expires and his did last week. I finally got her to agree to send in a request because he needs to drive his truck to do volunteer work. Since he can't work yet, he has been helping old people in my neighborhood fix things in there homes and he needs to pick up materials. He can't get paid, but boy are these ladies feeding the heck out of him.

That was last friday and I have not heard anything. I almost wish I hadn't found this thread, so that I could sit in oblivion and not realise that almost everyone else has gotten at least biometrics.
