I'm sure that you are frustrated beyond belief!! I would be as well! I hope you guys hear something soon.

I find this whole process interesting and baffling. I wish that I had the time (and more of a desire!) to do a statistical survey on which applications get processed at what speed. Yes, of course, the USCIS have their own "stats" out, but I seriously think that they are tainted based on their own ideals. I'm wondering if your biometrics are taking longer to be scheduled because of the type of AOS you are doing (from a F1) as opposed to others (i.e. is a K-1 AOS faster and/or easier for them because a lot of their legwork was done during the K-1 process?). Just a thought and an idea. And obviously, certainly countries require certain things, and what I mean by that is if you are interviewing for a K-1 in Morocco for instance, most know that they will more than likely be put into administrative processing if not flat out denied the first try because Morocco is supposedly one of the highest marriage visa fraud countries.

Ok, I'm just thinking out loud and trying to get my mind off of work. It really sucks right now and I would rather eat glass than work here any longer, but I don't always get what I want :crying::rofl:

Hi Beth and John,

I was in the same kinda shoe as you are about job... And I ended up quitting before receiving my EAD.

It sucks not to be able to anything but I'm trying to be patient, I guess.

Try not to think how work suck and dream about the day we receive our GC in our hand!!

Regards,

Junko&Martin

By the way, did USCIS changed the webpage??

I just noticed the my circle was moved to the second one but it's still Initial Review!!! Confusing

If they have the time to do that, can they work on our cases instead?? :P

yes.gif I do believe they did update their website. We're also in the second circle which is still Initial Review.

For all those wondering where their appointment letters are for finger prints and pictures on the initial review circle it says at the end that it's not uncommon to receive this letter well after 30 days of filing.

I wouldn't worry about it. I just saw the same thing happened to my account. I have been watching it like every hr since last month and I guess USCIS is making some updates to the websites. To all the welcome messages, thanks a lot. Whom ever came up with this website, had such a great idea coz it's a great place for pple like me to get advice and vent with others in the same boat

Got so excited after the web changes at the USCIS page. We only had decision after the initial review button so I was holding out hope that the case would be transferred and adjudicated w/o interview. I knew that as a K-3 w/ 2+ years of marriage that would never happen but where are we w/o dreams.

Didn't bother to get mail until a little while ago and we have an interview scheduled for September 2. Never a touch or any movement since the day after biometrics.

well this isn't one of the things you can get an update from the USCIS.

We just found out my wife is PREGNANT :-)

We are about 2-4 weeks in so along time to go but hope this is proof to the USCIS that we are going to be together.

On that note, Do i need to change my i864 now to 3 people. i hope that don't mean my 125% would go up to a different bracket lol. It would be well worth it though :-)

Congratulations, one of the scariest and most fun times of your life. Seeings how you just found out she was pregnant, you hopefully didn't just find out what caused it

Please remind her after some weight has been gained and the hot flashes start and she's uncomfortable and the uncertainty sets in, that it was you who stood up against all odds and made sure she was pregnant during the winter months and not the summer. You were only thinkng of her.

Then run like hell

Yah! kicking.gif Congrats! I had the funniest feeling this morning when I was leaving the house and saying goodbye to hubby. I wanted to tell him to let me know when the interview letter arrives. I feel it's going to be soon. :D Then I come online and I see interview letters arriving for those people just a few days ahead of us. kicking.gif
