Hello all,

1. If I am filing for my spouse and going to use my mother and father as co-sponsor (I-864A), they currently live in the same household as me, however sometime in the future we will be living in different places (not in the same household), will this affect anything?

2. What do I need to include to prove my mother and father live in the same house as me and are really my mother and father?

1. How far in future? Will this be before your spouse comes to America? Or after? If after, it doesn't matter. If it's before, as in your parents or you are are moving in 2 weeks into application then you should wait till the move and file with proper address and proper form.

2. You'll send in your parents tax transcripts which will show their address. You already provided them with your address when you filed I130. So this should be sufficient unless your I864A specifically mentions submitting something to prove it. In that case, copies all yours and your parent's driver licenses should be enough. I think.

I will be changing residence in maybe a month or two, after sending off the I-130. I don't want to wait a few months to send the I-130 but I also don't want any problems. Should my sponsors just file regular 864s instead of household members then, even though right now I live in the same household as them? Thanks for your help

Do not send any I-864 now. You cannot provide that until AFTER the petition is APPROVED and NVC requests it. At that time, you'll execute the affidavits based on the current circumstances on the day you sign them. You will no longer be in the same household as your parents at that time, so there will be no combining of income. One and only one of your parents can act as joint sponsor in those circumstances and that sponsor must qualify completely on their own. Pick the parent with the qualifying income, when the time comes.

Can I use one of my parents as a normal sponsor (not household) even if I live in the same house as them at the time of sending the I-864? Does it harm the process to change address during NVC?

Dude, you parents move will happen in 1 or 2 month. You won't even get your USCIS approval by 2 months, let alone anything by NVC. You'll be ready to send the I-864 things in proably 5 or 6 months. By then your parents will be moved and settled in their address. You use whatever your current situation at that time. You'll is their current address which is their new place address.

I don't think it will harm if you use normal sponsorship over household sponsorship. But why would you want to complicate the matter? Just go with what's truthful.

I know this, my question is, if I fill out something that is truthful at the time of the forms, but at the end of the process isn't true is that a problem. For example, at the time I file my I-864 and I-864A my parents are living with me, but after being accepted they aren't, would that be a problem. Thanks for your help

No but it is irrelevant because you will not file the I-864 for several months past when you don't live together. You said you'll only be together another two months. You won't do the I-864 until at least four months from your filing date.
