HI ,my question is ,after all of the paperwork,has been approved , and you get your NOA2, how long ,will We , wait for ,the counselute to ,give us a interview??????????????

They're saying that it doesn't take that long for a K3 interview. For a CR-1, currently they're giving Dec. 06 and Jan 07.

I-130 (CR1) Form:

  • Received NAO1 on April 14, 2006
  • Approved on July 14, 2006
  • Received DS-3032 & Fee for Affidavit on August 07, 2006
  • Waiting for my wife to receive the DS-3032; Mailed out Affidavit Fee on August 09, 2006
  • Mailed out immigration fee on September 25, 2006
  • Overnighted I-864 Affidavit on October 2, 2006
  • Spouse mailed DS230 part I & copy of biographic page from Pakistan on October 23, 2006 (Pakistan date)
  • DS230 part I & copy of biographic page arrives to the NVC on November 06, 2006
  • Case Completed at NVC on November 30, 2006.
  • CR-1 forwarded December 07, 2007, and arrived at Islamabad Embassy on December 12, 2006.
  • Wife picks up packet for CR-1 on January 10, 2007.

I-129F (K3) Form:

  • NOA1 received on June 08, 2006
  • Stamped and mailed a RFAE notice on November 14, 2006 to Homeland Security. Sent next day but too late for K3...
  • USCIS receives my RFAE on November 21, 2006, and case is now at the Missouri Service Center.
  • I-129F approved on November 28, 2006.
  • I-129F forwarded to Islamabad embassy on December 06, 2006.
  • Packet for K3 sent on January 08, 2007 and INTERVIEW DATE is assigned for January 30, 2007.

The time it takes to get an interview after NOA2 depends on your embassy, for example the Embassy where my interview will take place is Manila, and it takes about 4 months.

NOA 2 for I-129F Received in the Mail August 26th, 2006

NVC sends the I-129F to the Manila Embassy August 29th, 2006

Embassy in Manila Receives I-129F August 31st, 2006

Packet 4 Received by Melinda from Manila Embassy October 1, 2006

Interview at Us Embassy Manila, October 18, 2006

Visa Approved! Interview Completed.

Visa Delivered by DELBROS October 28th, 2006

October 30, 2006 Arrived back in LAX with Melinda, were going to Disneyland!!!

November 6th, 2006, Melinda and I are back home in Winslow Arizona loving Life!

First things first - how long are you going to take to submit your visa application after the consulate has sent you the visa application package?

It all depends on your Embassy as others have said. Now you should start connecting with people using that Embassy b/c embassies tend to often do things there own way and change things around. I got my record number from NVC on the 3rd and the letter on the 8th. I called Rio de Janeiro at the embassy and my interview was already scheduled for Sept. 12th. Super fast but that is Rio I have also found out from recent interviewees that they dont both to send packets anymore and you download it all from embassy website. If I had not known that there is a chance we would have never been notified b/c thats they way its going in Rio now so check up on it!! :dance::dance:

Biometric Letter dated 5/29/09

Biometric Appointment: 6/25/09

touched: 6/26/09

9/30/09: got an email from USCIS. Production of the card has been ordered.

10/07/09: Got 10 years GC in mail

Apply for citizenship:....
