Yes, NWD is a high-fraud Embassy and male beneficiaries routinely undergo AP, as opposed to Chennai and Mumbai in India.

Usually, the AP is on the shorter side, 4-6, weeks as opposed to Islamabad or HCMC.

I am not sure where you are getting your information and would greatly appreciate you sharing it with me so I can compare reports...I have looked at all the reports that ppl have gathered here on VJ and I have found out the oppisite to be true...Even though I have seen some ppl have an AP that last 2 to 6 weeks that isnt the majority, what I have found is that India has a higher amount of denials with ppl having to refile and waits in AP as long as 6 months to over 1 year...

I don't have any hard numbers although I do know a few couples who been through the NWD Embassy (outside of VJ).

There are different types of AP/AR. The 'regular, basic' one, at least in Delhi, from what I've observed, is usually 4-8 weeks-ish. This would include 'missing documentation, name checks, etc.'

The more obvious 'fraud' cases which may require home or neighborhood visits, waivers, or higher security background clearance can run into months of AP. This wouldn't be your average, run-of-the-mill case, to begin with.
