How long dooes it takes for the interview appoiment ??

Hello everyone! does someone know how long will take to get the appoiment at the mexican consulate?? , please if you have any idea or clue let me know :( because my husband read about it and it says for mexico is around 11 months just of waiting for the interview so i really pray for that to be a mistake and maybe someone else can tell us i have to wait a little less :help:

Im sorry but unfortunately the wait time for a CR-1 interview in Mexico is indeed approximately a year.

Aussiewench, you're the Immigration guru! You should be an immigration attorney, if you're not alreay one. By the way, would you know how long the wait time in India (Mumbai) is for IR1/CR1 and K3 also? Thanks!

Does somebody know about how long is the wait in the brazilian embassy from the time NVC sends the case and the interview?

11/12/2006 Entered Usa with k-3 visa

11/29/06 Sent EAD package to Chicago ( sent EAD before AOS)

12/04/06 NOA

12/14/04 Case transferred to California

12/22/06 Biometrics

03/11/07 Touched

04/12/07 - Infopass appointment. They sent an email to the California Service Center asking about my case.

04/12/07- Touched (seems like Infopass really worked)

04/13/07 - Touched

05/01/07 - Another infopass, this time he talked to someone in California who said that is going to approve my case and that I'll have my card in 3 weeks.

05/02/07 - Touched

05/03/07 - Touched

12/20/06 Sent AOS

12/27/06 NOA

01/12/07 Biometrics

02/30/07 RFE received

03/22/07 RFE sent

03/30/07 Email notification saying that they received RFE and case processing has resumed

According to timelines & posts it is only taking a couple of months from leaving NVC to interview at both Mumbai and Brazil

how about in Manila Philippines Aussie?

Up until not very long ago it was taking approx. 9 months but it does appear that this has shortened to around 4-6 months going from timelines.

Manila is one of the consulates where the NVC reviews all the documents submitted as opposed to the consulate and the NVC will schedule the interview. When the time draws closer you can check for your appointment date HERE

Aussiewench you are the calming voice for alot of us here. I appreciate your knowledge and that of all the others at this site. It has helped me immeasurably. Any insight on the interview time frame in Casablanca for the K3 or the CR/1? Trying to figure out if my husband will spend Ramadan in Morocco or USA.
