When should I send I-129F packet to Fiancee?

Well we got our approval and I got the NOA2 in the mail. When should i send the I-134, financial papers(paystubs, bank statments...etc...), and the copy of the I-129F pack to my Fiancee? Should I keep sending paystubs to her up until the interview date? Is it imperative that she gets the most recent paystubs before her interview or can I just send them out now even if her interview may be a month away?

Thanks,

Michael

IF you can get her all that info now it would be best. Depending on where her interview is, vancouver is fairly fast, whereas montreal is a bit slower. My interview was in March and i took all paystubs from Jan 1st, right up to the last one before my interview. I even included relationship evidence from our noa2 in november til March along with a bunch of other stuff. Overkill but i wanted to be ready for anything.

Right now she can go ahead and get her police certificate and soon as she gets her p3 schedule her medical also. make sure she has all the other stuff that may take a while to get like long form b.c. also.

To the IP:

It is highly recommended that you make two complete copies of your I-129f package that you submit to the USCIS. The petitioner should keep one copy and one copy should be sent to the beneficiary.

Its not unheard of for things to get lost and you never know when something may be requested that was part of the original petition. Its also a good way for the beneficiary to review and know exactly what was in the petition.

Its best to provide the most recent information possible. Consider how long it takes to send documents to your sweety and leave yourself plenty of ample time for the documents to arrive before the interview. Typically you would have plenty of time to send the documents once you receive the interview appointment letter.

I would try to recreate a copy of your initial I-129f package while the data as you listed it is still fresh in your memory. You won't have true replicas to hand over if the consulate needs something from you, but you'll have the next best thing for all the previous reasons described. Stay on top of your documents! It's going to be a long haul. Keep copies of everything from here on out. You'll probably be fine but you want to cover all your bases through this process.

OK - you've got your NOA2. Next your petition will go to the NVC where a background check will be done. The NVC will assign a case number and forward the petition to the consulate.

The consulate will then contact the beneficiary with instructions on how to apply for the visa (referred to as packet 3). The beneficiary then completes some documents and returns them to the consulate and they send the interview appointment and more instructions (packet 4).

This is a typical process. Some consulates send packet 3 and 4 together. Its not exactly yhe same everywhere. However you should have ample time from receipt of packet 3 to send documents and in most cases ample time from packet 4.

We had one month from receipt of packet 4 (interview appointment). I actually updated my I-134 and EOR, bought tickets and flew to Vietnam to hand deliver them :D and be with my darling when she interviewed  Ended up taking an extended vacation and staying for a month and a half. She came home with me  I've never been so happy!

I wish you guys the best and good luck!

If you want to get specifics on how the consulate processes work in Canada, post in the Canada Regional Forum and you'll get much more specific feedback too
