paying IV fees online witout getting a notice from mail

Hi All!

Just a question, I went on the NVC website and it showed that my IV fees is now ready to be paid. So i went ahead and paid the $400 fee. But the thing is, I didn't receive a notice thru mail yet. Is this going to delay the processing of my wife's visa? Comments are greatly appreciated. I am an LPR petitioning for my wife. Thanks!

How long ago did you pay? It takes several days for it to be processed.

I never got anything in the mail but received an email. I think that the important thing is that, assuming you paid at least several days ago, it says that you have paid and you can print the cover letter.

I paid it online last friday night since it is already invoice and can be paid. Will this be a problem? Paying it without a notice thru mail or e-mail? Thanks!

I believe that you should have gotten a confirmation email, but like I said, the important thing is that you can print off the cover letter in a few days. On Monday, I would call NVC, open until 12AM eastern time, to see if they have your email. It seriously took about 5 calls from me for them to get my email right. Their number is 603-334-0700. Sometimes you will get a busy signal...if so, call back every few seconds until you get through. Press 2 for non Haiti related issues, 1 for English and finally press 5 to speak with someone.

i did the same thing, i paid online but i did not receive anything in the mail, the important thing is that you paid .

I30 sent 01/2010 (can't remember the exact date)

NOA1 January 29,2010

NOA2 February 26,2010 ( yes it was that fast, still Thanking God for that)

Transferred to NVC

March 5,2010, i received my case # and no visa was available

June 4,2010 received AOS bill via email and Paid the same night

June 4,2010 received Visa Application Processing bill Via email and paid the same night

July 15,2010 mailed the AOS form and documents

August 27,2010 mailed DS-230 form and documents

September 30th I thought my case complete but received an RFE later on, still in the process

That would be okay, no worries. Check it back again after 3 business days and as soon it shows PAID, print the cover sheet and download the form from the link provided.
