Also its okay if i write personal checks right?

Let me also confirm fees for I-765 (EAD) and I-131 (AP)

Numbers are correct and I think personal checks are good since they are so easy to track

You can combine these two. I did.

I would go further and recommend personal checks over other means. The Chicago lock box is actually a bank BTW, so sending them a check is good!

One more thing

I have the checkbook in my name (petitionar) and not my Husbands name (Actually he is the one filing for AOS, correct). Is it still okay, If i (his wife) write the checks

Regards

They dont care who writes the checks, as long as they get to suck money out of you :P

Yes you can write the checks. My husband wrote mine.

Actually "they don't care who writes the checks" isn't true.

If you're filing I-130, the I-130 check has to either be in the name of, or have the name on it (i.e. joint account) of the person who is petitioning for the relative.

We had no problems with the check being in my name for Eliana's AOS and AP. They just want the money (in of course, the correct amount).

Sorry, it was more a joke than anything. Should've clarified better.

But yes you can write the check.
