Hi all,

Just got a curiousity regarding the topic above. I recently sent in my package for the I-751 application, and recently received 2 NOA for Biometrics. Is there supposed to be 2 biometrics appointments? Both are within the same week, one is tomorrow and the other one is Thursday.

Thanks,

Phuong

So should I go to both? Also, with these biometrics, the US citizen spouse (me), is not required to attend correct? I can't take my wife to the first appointment, which is tomorrow, but I can take her to the one on Thursday. I would assume only the person named on the NOA is required to be present, correct?

Thanks,

Phuong

The USC spouse is not required to attend, and some ASCs will not allow the USC spouse to enter the facility.

I recommend bringing both appointment notices to the first appointment. They will be able to instruct you on how to proceed.

Best of luck!

I received two as well, didn't worry because I knew I was not the only one in this case.

I went in today with both letters, the only comment of the agent when she saw both letters is that is has happened a lot lately. Some people have called USCIS who told them to disregard the second letter. It's just a glitch, you only need to show up for one appointment.

No need to take your USC spouse with you. Only one Biometric is required. The second one is a computer glitch. Thats what I was told when I got two Biometrics appointment letters for my AOS. Both were to be done two weeks apart. I took the second letter to the ASC and asked them if they would cancel the second letter. They said they can't do that since the letters are generated elsewhere. The officer advised that I appear for both appointments to avoid any un-necessary delay. Best thing you appear for both. No harm.
