Hello,

Has anyone else noticed that according to Visa Journey's timelines no IR1/CR1 petition have have left the NVC since July 17th. I looked a ways back though the history and have seen no other gaps this large. I am not there yet but since my petition is currently at the NVC I am just a bit concerned about the delay. Can anyone shed any light on this issue?

Thanks,

Kent

I have noticed the same thing, they received the amended docs that my daughter was asked for and these were input into the system on the 17th July, since then absolutely nothing all the automated system or an operator for that matter says is it takes 2-4 weeks ;) We are now over 3 weeks so according to them we should be case complete and out of there by early next week. We shall see!!!!

I am talking about all the CR1/IR1 cases listed here in the Visa Jounrey's CR1/IR1 timeline. If you look at all the all cases currently listed in the advance view and then sort the data according to the date the case left the NVC you will see that no CR1/IR1 case has left the NVC since July 17 2006.

Maybe the NVC is focusing on all the K3/K1 petitions that were delayed due to IMBRA? They must be comming in by the truck load. lol.

Many of the cases listed though will be DCF and this can affect timelines. Those doing CR-1 or showing such are and have always been in the minority and can make it difficult to read the timelines to get a clear picture of what is going on. I dont believe the situation is any different to what it has been over the past 12 months. If anything the CR-1 process is still generally maintaining its fast processing times through service center and NVC when compared to what it used to be. Yes there will always be hold ups but these are generally security check issues or RFE's. Hoping you all get your case complete soon (F)

Hmmm, I think something did happen at NVC. Our case was completed on 7/10/06 and the NVC recording said that it was mailed to Frankfurt on 7/18/06. My husband was finally able to get through to the embassy today and was told that they just received his bio today, 8/11/06!
