Just checking to see how many are still waiting for the approvel sent in march??? God help us.

WE are depressed and waiting for our approval!!! It looks though like we are going to be the last ones approved.... That's CSC's strategy: first to come last to be approved :crying:

That seems like the policy, a bunch of people who had their interviews recalled are still waiting as well.

Moi aussi - one of the doomed, March 6 NOA1/March 31 NOA2 - recalled. NADA, ZIP, ZILCH since July 12. Just got a call from a staffer Congressman Wu's office here in Portland. Said he's been trying to get through to CSC but all lines have been busy so far today. He will keep trying til he gets through he said, and call me back. I had explained in the info I faxed that many cases who filed as recently as May and June are getting approved while the March apps are sitting collecting dust. He said he wasn't aware that any new K-1s filed post-IMBRA had been approved and sent to consulates yet. I sent him printouts of Uling's and Mew's charts, but he apparently was looking at some official record that indicates otherwise????? The CSC Director will be receiving my letter today. We'll see if anything happens....

We're still waiting . . . as May and June filers receive their approvals, we have been left in box gathering dust. Or maybe in a room with a big sign that says "do not enter"

No touches since July 21

Don't even have enough energy to write a nastygram to Mrs. Director of CSC

Haven't heard back from my senator's office although they were making an inquiry last week

That's me in the avatar but you can't see the bottle of tequila

hmmm so your fiance's making you think twice huh? I'm sorry to hear that...at the same time, and I don't mean to intrude, but he needs to straighten up otherwise, how does he expect to make it in your relationship if he can't learn patience. As much as waiting sucks, I use it as a test of our relationship. All I can say to you is to stay strong and hang in there. Good luck in your journey and hope that things do come in due time.

Your timeline seems a little odd, I didn't recall any cases that were approved from Nebraska in just one month. Maybe yours was an odd ball.

I've noticed that, too. I remember thinking at the time it was pretty fast for a federal govt. agency. Mine must of been one of the last ones to be approved before they figured out the IMBRA problem. I even had an RFE requesting a certified divorce decree that held it up a couple weeks, otherwise it might have been even quicker. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to mean anything now.

According to my receipt date, I shouldn't get one... and IMBRA shouldn't apply to me... However that's not what CSC told my congressman.

Called CSC myself and they said we have not sent out an RFE and there's no indication that we ever will.

So it's kinda getting sorted out between my lawyer and congressperson.

The thing is, is that I got an RFE for the payment... so... I'm thinking there are TWO dates stamped on my petition, one PRE IMBRA and one POST IMBRA and they have no idea what date to go by... So they just toss it aside.. Nuts.
