I received email and mailed "Card production ordered" notice on May 3rd. Received email "Approved Petition" on May 11th, also received this in mail few days later then on May 26th another email received for "approved petition". I dont get it why they sent card production ordered first then 2 approvals in 2 weeks apart. It's June 4th and until now i have not received my green card yet. Is this some kind of a strange? Hope anybody who knows somethnig or with same situation can answer this and make me feel better.

I'm not that far yet, so I can't speak from personal experience, but from what I have read on the forums, your case is not unique.

Hang in there and your GC should arrive. If you don't get it within 90 days of the 2nd approval notice, I would schedule an Infopass appointment.

This probably isn't true, but maybe USCIS is giving out double approvals to increase their approval statistics per day?

Hi,

Please check my timeline (green section of it)... very common to receive multiple email notifications that state the same thing. As long as you received an approval letter in the mail, then the GC is on the way. I think since they started this new GC design - they might be a little slow on getting them produced.

You have been waiting for 30 days (I am assuming the approval letter says May 3rd). You can contact USCIS and inform them that you have waited 30 days and have not yet received your GC.

Yes very common,

I have been checking the timelines of various May approvals and the waiting time is between 20-25 days, or even more like yourself.

I think the reason why they are taking longer is because we are getting the new GREEN card. Keep us posted.Check my timeline for more info.

Although not relavant to your case in particular, but during my AOS, I received two Biometrics appointment letters and that too, within a few days. I went twice for finferprinting as I didn't have the stamina to question them why. At times the system in error generates multiple letters/emails. Thats the reason I was given when I went the second time. What matters is that you received an official email stating you are approved. Be patient. Your GC should be arriving soon. God Bless.
