How to deal with the down time

I think you should all just sit around feeling sorry for yourselves. That's what worked for me.

I was with him but I still sat around feeling sorry for both of us. I was re-reading some of my posts from 2007 and I want to die in shame. I wish they were old enough to have been lost in The Great Purge. I had a class-A freakout about an RFE which resulted in (the horror!) a week's delay.

Uh, no. I think I embarrass myself quite adequately in the here and now without further reference to what an ungrateful, whingeing little madam I was but three years ago.

I wouldn't say she is. I would say she is the devil's advocate on a lot of things though...and she knows it, which makes it more awesome!

I meant no insult by any means....Drama queen....Someone who takes every accomplishment as a momentous event....and then every stumble as the end of the world.....at least until they calm down and see reason.

LOL I didn't you meant it offensivly. I just wanted to make sure your definition and what I consider a drama queen are different.

Don't consider a stumble as a major event though. We were fine til it got to his part of stuff and now there is some minor trip up every day....the control freak in me twitches.

Lmao! So that is the normal is it? Some kind of trip up with the fellows part of the visa......now it all makes since to me....lmao!!!!Explains why am ready to strangle my SO.

OMG the down time sucks!! I have cleaned out the house, my bedroom I let go of a ton of shoes and cloths to make room, cleaned out an entire dresser for his stuff. Bought a bookshelf for his massive collection and put shelving in the storage room for the extra stuff he brings all before we recieve the NOA2 (which I would love for it come this week pretty, pretty please) wedding planning done, paperwork ready, now just miserable waiting waiting and more waiting...

Just got back from a week in London with my fiance; we are now just waiting for his appointment letter from the embassy.

Luckily(?!) to keep me distracted, one of my semi-feral outdoor kitties has moved her four kittens in under my front porch. The Great Kitten Trapping Escapade starts tomorrow. Can I interest anyone in a small fuzzy semi-feral kitten?

Ahhhhh ....I think our little princess would eat the little kitties......now if they were puppies we could prolly get something happing with out Sammy girl here eating a kitten pie.
