I haven't seen julez yet, you guys must have worn her out and she is still sleeping!

Krikit and Maven killed me!! I made it home around 12:45 and crashed on the couch pretty much the rest of the day! We had a great time. I especially enjoyed slagging off the 'musicians'. Maven and I sing much better, and are far more entertaining. Just ask Krikit. laughing.gif

I'd love another order of poutine. smile.gif

Wegmans is my favourite grocery store in the whole wide world. luv.gif I am happy to be reunited with my loved one. smile.gif

Wouldn't you just love another cup o' cake that we had from Wegman's on Saturday?

For those of you in close proximity to Wegmans you must try the Ultimate White Cake! It is seriously the business.

I think I have enjoyed my one poutine for life, but my fiance' now, he will likely want another one next year. Here is a photo from us eating at "La Belle Province" in Lachine, Quebec the day before our interview. He ate the whole TRAY of POUTINE!

BULK REPLY!

BLASPHEMER!!!

I took advantage in Montreal as well. Here's the hubby having a chicken poutine (YOU HEARD ME... IT WAS GLORIOUS), the night before my interview. If y'all recall, he's actually Canadian as well (dual citizen), and had been in the US for over a year and a 1/2 at that point, other than brief visits... he loves him some poutine, and really missed it. I think he cried when we ate there.

(please excuse the effed up colouring... I was in some weird photo-editing phase when I originally blogged this last November)

Actually, the coloring looks pretty cool. :) Not sure if it's related to the color scheme used in the blog or not, but it seems artistic. :)

This is a funnel cake:

Funnel_cake.jpg

OMGFUNNELCAKE OM NOM NOM

The picture of the Beaver Tail looks more like a small Fried Dough, which is basically the same ingredients as a funnel cake, except the fried dough is a (mostly) flat blob of dough, while the funnel cake gets squeezed out of a funnel in strips, hence the name.

Do we have to call them 'freedom' fries now that we're in the U.S.? :P

I think that went out of style a long time ago. It was dumb to begin with, since they weren't a French invention.

This is how I remember cheese curds, straight from the cheese factory. Nice and squeaky. They always looked so gross but tasted so good.

Mmmmmm cheese curds. *chewchewsqueaksqueak* :)

Wegmans sells some curds made in New York... they're great.

Wegmans is made of awesome (sez the resident of its home region). :D

How is Sprails Chip Stand going to make any money if you people keep bringing your own food and eating cake out of cups and stuff.

I would like some cake right about now.

Our dinner was meh...should have gone to the chip stand.

Jeez I can't believe I missed a thread about POUTINE!
