It's from a skit I watched on telly in a hotel room in London the night before I left to visit friends in Wales. I think it was Little Britain. I almost rotfl when I got there and visitors came and the first words out of the host's mouth to his mate was "How's ye caaaa?"

Using "advise" when they mean "advice". I get a tick in my left eye when I see that. One day I'm going to end up like Chief Inspector Dreyfuss in a straight jacket writing advice-advise with a crayon held between my toes. Seriously.
