LoL, I was going to skip straight to the end of this thread to post about this, but someone beat me to it and much more succinctly. I cringe in utter disgust whenever I hear someone using that term. Considering my background, growing up in southern california, the surfer dialect rubbed off on me and It has takent me half my lifetime to erase it. But for all the 'duuuuuuuuude' and 'killer' references, they are miniscule in comparison to irregardless. To make matters worse, this ####### child of a word has been included in several american dictionaries.

Irregardless is the be all, end all worst for me, because the insipid american dictionaries are now beginning to adopt it as a legitimate word, thus giving credence to those who use it.
